Since childhood, influenced by his ancestors’ Taoist beliefs and practicing martial arts, Taoist Yan developed a deep interest in traditional Chinese medicine, ancient Chinese medical arts, and human anatomy, diligently studying these fields. At the age of 28, he began practicing medicine with compassion, dedicating himself to helping people in need. Several years ago, while driving from San Diego to Las Vegas to assist a client, he encountered an accident where his vehicle lost control and collided with a mountainside. The incident was severe, prompting an emergency rescue team to airlift Taoist Yan to the hospital. At that time, he lost all sensation in his body and was unable to care for himself due to complete blockage of his Ren and Du meridians.
On a stormy night amidst thunder and lightning, Taoist Yan‘s consciousness was visited by an elder who advised him to practice Qigong daily, make a great vow, express gratitude, and assured him that his studies could universally benefit humanity, reaching a state of innate health. Miraculously, a month later, Taoist Yan recovered completely and resumed his service to others. During this period, his deeds were specifically covered by the Taiwan Times.
Today, when treating patients, Taoist Yan does not need to thoroughly understand the causes, relying instead on divine support to accurately and effectively administer treatment. Using natural therapies and metaphysical concepts, he repairs deficiencies in acquired health to achieve an innate state of well-being. Taoist Yan is recognized as a leader by the American Chinese Taoism Health Recuperation Organization, giving back to society, benefiting all beings, and promoting both Chinese religious and medical culture, thereby integrating both and creating a historic precedent for miraculous methods to help those destined for good fortune.
